Halsey is keeping it real about life as a new mom.
On Sunday, the 26-year-old pop star — who uses “she/they” pronouns — posted a series of Instagram photos of baby Ender’s nursery, and included an unfiltered snap of their postpartum stretch marks.
The “Without Me” singer welcomed their first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin on July 14.
“Well…This is what it look like,” Halsey captioned the post, which also gave fans a glimpse of the “baby” tattoo on their lower abdomen.
“Finally a celebrity who shows imperfections after childbirth instead of a perfect toned body right after,” one fan wrote in praise. Another encouraged, “Wear those tiger stripes proud mama!!”
Along with photos of Ender’s colorful nursery, which is decorated with rainbows, a daisy-shaped rug and a mushroom-inspired stool, they also shared an adorable shot of the newborn twinning with dad Aydin, 38, in tie-dye.
On Wednesday, Halsey also posted a sunny snap while breastfeeding Ender in a park.
Halsey revealed they were pregnant in January, posting a series of topless photos wearing only baggy jeans to show off their belly. The pop singer has long been candid about their struggles with fertility due to endometriosis, revealing in 2016 that they suffered a miscarriage while on tour.
Halsey also told Allure that “the stars aligned” when they began dating Aydin, a screenwriter. “Our relationship became romantic and it was pretty evident that he and I were both like, ‘Oh, my gosh! You’re the person I’m supposed to start a family with,’” they shared.
