Gogglebox's Pete Sandiford recently welcomed his daughter with wife, Paige Yeoman, and revealed her very sweet name.
The reality TV star shared the news that the pair had welcomed a baby girl during Friday night's episode of Gogglebox.
Their baby joy was revealed right at the end of the show when Pete, 28, was seen holding his little girl.
While his sister and Gogglebox co-star Sophie Sandiford was in another room, he shouted: "Hey Sophie, have I told you her name? We think we're going to call her Evie Sylvie Sandiford."
Sophie quickly shared her approval of the name and shouted to her brother: "Oh I love it!"
The name Evie is Australian in origin and means "life" or "woman who enjoys life," according to The Bump.
It's a diminutive of lots of names, including Eva, Evelyn, and Evangeline.
Meanwhile, the tot's middle name, Sylvie, has a nature connection, as it means "forest".
It may be of Latin origin, but this girl’s name has a chic French feel.
Ancient history enthusiasts might know Sylvie as the mom of Romulus and Remus, whereas pop culture fans may associate the sassy name with Emily in Paris girlboss Sylvie Grateau. In either case, both women thrived as mother and mentor figures, which could inspire similar leadership in your little one.
Pete and Paige got married in 2021 and already share a son, Jimmy, together.
Pete revealed he was about to become a dad for the second time in a sweet on-air announcement during an episode of Gogglebox in December last year.
Joined by Jimmy and sister Sophie, 27, on the sofa, the TV star told his young son he was going to have a little brother or sister in a moment that melted the hearts of viewers.
As Sophie excitedly cuddled her nephew, Pete said: "You're going to have to make the most of the attention Jimbers, now you're going to have a little brother or sister coming. You're going to have to milk it!"
To which Sophie then added: "You're going to be a big brother!"
