With the weather starting to warm up, garden ranges have been soaring in popularity as Britons race to get their outdoor spaces ready for the heat. From Aldi’s hanging egg chair to the rattan garden sofa from Homebase, shoppers have been going wild for summer essentials.
Experts at money.co.uk kept this in mind when they sought to discover which brands had the most in-demand outdoor products.
Home insurance experts used Ahrefs, a search engine analytical tool, to estimate the organic site traffic of each high street stores’ online garden range pages.
This was done from the first day of spring (March 20) to last week (June 3), showing which ones customers were eyeing up most as summer approaches.
The Range was the most popular by far at 7.6 million organic visits, which was over 2.7m more than the second place brand.
From outdoor lighting to patio furniture, The Range offers a wide variety of garden favourites for customers to purchase.
The second most popular brand was Dunelm, with their garden page having an estimated 4.9m searches since the first day of spring.
Dunelm’s range includes animal inspired plant pots and guides on how to brighten and utilise your garden effectively.
Wickes was a close third at 4.9m site visits, followed by Wilko at fourth with 4.1m.
Homebase placed fifth on the list at 3.9m, rounding off the list’s top five.
To obtain this information, money.co.uk looked at a range of online articles about where to buy garden furniture from in 2021 with a focus on high street stores.
They then put each of these stores into the Ahrefs tool with dates filtered from March 20 to June 3, giving them the top ten most visited garden ranges.
