This week on Home and Away, Tane (Ethan Browne) is excited for his next big step in life – asking Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) to marry him. Everyone is elated for him, but Felicity isn’t in the same headspace – she’s just found out her best friend has been sleeping with her brother!
Meanwhile, Leah (Ada Nicodemou) tells Heather (Sofia Nolan) to stop playing games with Marilyn (Emily Symons) – but her words are ignored. To make matters
worse, Leah gets home to discover the place has been trashed. Has Heather decided to send Leah a warning?
Here’s what’s coming up for the week beginning Monday November 7.
Tane reveals he’s going to propose to Felicity
After speaking with Ziggy about her pregnancy and plans for the future with Dean, Tane realises he wants to make similar steps forwards with Felicity. After giving it some thought, Tane comes up with a plan and he can’t hide his glee. Dean asks him what’s got him in such a good mood, and Tane reveals the news – he’s going to propose to Felicity. He then tells Nikau, and he’s elated for his uncle. However, when he gets home, he discovers that Felicity is in a foul mood after discovering how Cash has been distracting himself. Will Tane be able to get her feeling better in time for the proposal?
Nikau lies to the police for Heather – but Rose is suspicious
Nikau is feeling closer to Heather than ever after she reveals her big secret – Marilyn is her mother. He’s touched that Heather would be vulnerable with him, so he goes above and beyond to make her feel supported. He feels he has particular reason to help Heather, as everyone else in the Bay seems to have a problem with her.
As if to prove his point, Rose then shows up on official police duty – she’s investigating the attack on John’s car. She asks where Heather was when it happened, but Nikau cuts in with a false alibi – they were at his house watching football together. Rose is sceptical and asks Nikau if he’d be willing to put that alibi into an official police statement. Nikau has hesitant – has he just landed himself in hot water?
Rose tries to play matchmaker for Xander and Bree
Rose has been happy to see Xander’s confidence growing as he gets help for his trauma on the job as a paramedic. She is impressed when he decides to stop hiding the tattoos he’s had inked on his body to deal with his pain, and he instead takes his shirt off at the beach for the first time. Bree walks past them, and marvels at Xander being in the sand – she didn’t think he was the swimming type? Rose notices their exchange with intrigue. Is there something between her brother and Bree?
As if to confirm her suspicions, Xander invites Bree to join him and Rose for their lunch at Salt. Bree is chatty, and says Xander is quite the hot topic among the nurses at work. Deciding to play matchmaker, Rose confirms Xander is definitely single. Bree and Xander exchange glances – if only Rose knew the truth…
Ziggy’s mood swings leave Dean feeling exhausted
Ziggy’s pregnancy is taking its toll on her body, as she is constantly plagued by morning sickness and feels she can’t do anything she used to do. She can’t even go out for a meal in Salt. Dean is understanding, but Ziggy’s hormones are haywire and she buckles under the impact of her sickness. Dean pushes Ziggy to accept her new boundaries, but she snaps at him – she can make her own decisions.
Dean ends up sleeping on the couch…in the morning, Ziggy is full of apologies after a good night’s sleep and says her sickness has gone. They have pancakes at Salt, but when Dean asks how she’s going to tackle work, Ziggy flies back into a rage. Dean is left despondent…what happened to them doing pregnancy as a team?
Marilyn continues destroying her reputation to protect Heather
Marilyn’s friends have been left stunned in the aftermath of her confession that she slashed John’s tyres. However, John himself refuses to believe she is the culprit and decides to get the police involved to discover the truth. Unfortunately, when Rose interviews Heather – the one John suspects is really responsible – she has a convenient alibi thanks to Nikau. All Rose is left with is Marilyn’s confession, so John decides to drop the charges. However, when Leah finds out that Marilyn has been lying to her friends – and the police – to cover up a crime, she begins to wonder how far she will go to destroy her reputation in order to protect Heather…
Leah is shaken after discovering her house has been broken into
Leah decides she can’t sit back and watch Heather continue to behave erratically and violently without trying to do something about it. Wanting to protect her friend, Leah goes down to the caravan park and knocks on Heather’s door. She cuts to the chase – she knows Heather has been lying. Heather immediately drops the act, and Leah tells her to stop playing games with Marilyn or she will go to the police. Heather is unbothered by Leah’s words, simply closing the door. However, when Leah returns home that evening, she discovers that her home has been broken into and trashed…is this Heather’s way of getting revenge?
Felicity works out the truth about Cash and Eden after slip-up
Felicity has been concerned about Cash’s absent behaviour and asks Eden to keep an eye on her brother. Eden agrees, but what Felicity doesn’t notice is her best friend’s inner turmoil – she’s been sleeping with Cash in secret. Remi warns Eden to walk away before she gets into too deep, especially as Cash isn’t in a good headspace, but Eden doesn’t listen.
However, when Felicity idly wonders if Cash is working when they’re in Salt later, Eden immediately confirms he is. Felicity is suspicious – why would Eden know that? She begins to realise that perhaps Eden is doing more than just keeping an eye out for her brother…
Heather flees the Bay once the cops are after her
Theo and Justin come rushing home once they discover their home has been broken into. Leah is confused by the situation – their belongings have been trashed, but nothing has been stolen. When Rose and Cash come to investigate, Rose suggests it could have been a personal attack. Leah realises it must have been Heather, and the two cops share a glance – Heather is certainly on their radar.
The next day, Leah and Rose go to Heather’s caravan for an informal chat – only to discover it’s empty, and Heather is gone…how will Marilyn react to this news?
