Hostage ordeal, missing person and a blast from the past in Home and Away

This week on Home and Away, Alf’s (Ray Meagher) life is in jeopardy as Heather (Sofia Nolan) continues her twisted hostage plot.

As the Summer Bay favourite struggles to breathe, Roo (Georgie Parker), Irene (Lynne McGranger) and Leah (Ada Nicodemou) beg Heather to let them call for help, but she stands firm. If Alf gets worse, then Marilyn’s (Emily Symons) friends will all blame her mother for putting them in this situation – which is exactly what she wants…

Meanwhile, Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) is outraged to discover the truth about Bree’s (Juliet Godwin) husband Jacob (Alex Williams). Unable to fathom why Bree would stay with someone who is violent, she can’t restrain herself when she crosses paths with him and hints she knows all about his behaviour. However, will it be Bree who ultimately pays the price for Eden’s outburst when Jacob begins stewing over the encounter?

Here’s what’s coming up for the week beginning Monday January 2.
