How to revive hydrangeas
You’ll need the following items:
- Your wilted hydrangeas
- Hot water (almost boiling)
- A sharp knife
- A vessel, such as a vase
- A cutting board
Take each wilted hydrangea stem and place it on the cutting board. Using the sharpest knife you have, cut the stem on a sharp diagonal angle.
After cutting the stems, immediately place them in the vessel filled with hot water. The water should be almost boiling.
Let the hydrangeas sit in the hot water for approximately 45 minutes.
After the designated time has passed, carefully remove the hydrangeas from the hot water and transfer them to a clean vase filled with fresh water.
Tori explained: “They’re going to be completely brought back to life and just like brand new.”
