When the weather gets cooler and the holiday planning grows more frantic, we know one thing for sure: Starbucks holiday cups are coming for us. Well, looks like ’tis officially the season because the coffee giant is officially bringing back their red holiday cups starting November 4.
Four new holiday cup designs are available for your hot beverages this season, all of which are inspired by gift-giving. The designs include the chain’s famous red hue with hints of green and white, plus a new lilac accent color to brighten up your winter days.
Each design is reminiscent of a different step in the holiday gift-giving and decorating process. One looks like wrapping paper with a colorful geometric patter and another has pieces of ribbon and sparkles—similar to what your floor looks like after doing your last-minute gift wrapping. The third cup takes inspiration from holiday lights, with bold, graphic letters spelling out Starbucks, while the last one displays diagonal stripes that look like a candy cane.
Each cup also has a blank “gift tag” printed on them, so you can share the joy of a Peppermint Mocha or Sugar Cookie Latte with your friends, family, or coworkers this season. For those who want festive reusable drinkware, Starbucks locations will also begin selling new candy cane tumblers, metallic spiked tumblers, and jewel-toned cups to take home with you.
Along with the new cups, several returning holiday drinks are back again this year as well, plus the all-new Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte (read our early review here). For those who want to pick up a sweet snack during their holiday Starbucks runs, you can choose from a Reindeer Cake Pop, Sugar Plum Danish, Cranberry Bliss Bar, and Snowman Cookie all starting on November 4. ‘Tis the season, indeed.
