Spooktacular returns to Glasgow shopping outlet – with a thrilling line-up of scary fairground rides | The Sun

A MUCH-loved spooky event is set to make a spine-tingling return this year.

Spooktacular will return to Glasgow's Silverburn this October bringing with it a host of spooky themed fairground fun.

Tickets for the event give punters unlimited access to over 15 rides for a four-hour period from October 6 until the 29.

Food and drink stalls and games are also available as well as a Spooky Silent Disco, new for 2023.

Revellers will get wireless headphones to dance to Halloween-themed tunes.

The silent disco is available to everyone free of charge.

A wide range of rides will be available with fun for the whole family.

Rides include a haunted Tagada, a spinning bowl, and the Waltzers, Dodgems and a Moonlit Ferris Wheel.

Thrill-seekers can also ride the Speed Buzz and "dive, flip and whirl" through the night.

A spooky ghost train with phantoms and lingering spirits is also back at the event.

Jumpin Frogs, Miami Trip, Superbob, Twist and Pirate Ship will also be at the fun fair.

And there is plenty on offer for the littlest of pumpkin with a Runaway Train ride, a Big Apple Coaster with a phantom caterpillar sprinting through the tracks.

Bungee Trampolines and a mini chair-o-plane are also packed in for some fine.

More attractions include Pony Express, Teacups and Toyset.

Height restrictions apply for all rides and tickets are based off of height instead of age.

Tickets for a specific day and time slot can be booked online and they are non-transferable and non-refundable.

And tickets must be booked at least four hours before the chose time slot.

But a selected number of tickets may be available at the door however these are subject to availability.

  • General Release: £17 + booking fee
  • On the Door: £22.50

Little Pumpkins (Riders Under 1.2 metres)

  • Early Bird Ticket: £12 + booking fee
  • General Release: £15 + booking fee
  • On the Door: £19.50
  • Children under the age of 2: FREE

Addams Family (2x Rider over 1.2 metres/ 2 x Rider under 1.2 metres)

  • Early Bird Ticket: £45 + booking fee
  • General Release: £15 + booking fee
  • On The Door: £75

Non- riders

  • Online: £3 + booking fee
  • On the Door: £4
