ONE mum has warned parents to NEVER give their babies this common teething aide due to the danger that she has discovered.
Horrifying parents have responded to the mum saying that they regret ever buying this for their kids.
Taking to her Instagram account, Nikki, who is a paramedic, issued a warning to all parents who have young kids using testing aides.
"Posting under the domain, Nikki said: @tinyheartseducation An important reminder to supervise bubs when wearing teething necklaces. So glad she is ok!"
Explaining the frightening incident the paramedic shared a message from a fellow mum, Polly Grenier: "Just a warning. I just found this amber teething necklace, I bought for Kinley when she was 5 months old and wanted to share these pictures."
Polly revealed her worst nightmare occurred when she was driving, and after glancing over at her baby realised the infant was choking on the necklace.

"I will NEVER EVER BUY ONE AGAIN!!! Kinley was 5 months old, in her infant rear-facing seat, I was driving down I5. I'm enjoying her babble and then it was a different noise, I saw her feet flaring and could hear her gagging" Polly said.
Adding: "I pulled over abruptly and got in the back seat. She was gagging on THIS necklace."
The mum explained how one bead broke and the daughter had swallowed some of this supposedly safe necklace.
"A bead that the twist clasp was attached to broke, and she had swallowed about 1.5" of the necklace," she said.
"I never found the other half. I called the company and sent them pictures. They didn't even want it back. They asked if I wanted a new one! Hell no!!!!" added the mum.
The post has received over 1900 reactions on the social media platform, and people have been quick to comment.
"’ I'm so glad i never ended up using one" commented one person.
Another said: "let’s never get one of these."
"This is why I would NEVER get one of these" commented a third.
