A RING has been hilariously mocked online – for the phallic manner in which it has been displayed in a shop.
After a picture of the jewellery was shared on Facebook, people were left in hysterics at its holder which they suggested resembled a "penis".
In a snap posted by a member to the 'That's It, I'm Ring Shaming' group, the rock could be seen positioned on a slanted grey tube with a crease at one end.
It was captioned by the person: "I don't like the ring, but I hate the presentation."
And the internet agreed with them that it was a rather rude design.
One person joked: "I mean, you can't say it isn't romantic."

Another teased: "It's a grower not a shower."
A third hilariously shared: "My husband should have proposed like this."
And a fourth added: "I've heard of a cock ring but…"
Triggering a host of 'likes', a fifth asked: "Is that ring happy to see me or is it just my imagination?"
