I’m a proud cheapskate and have an easy way to get brand new IKEA furniture on the cheap – and there's no flat pack | The Sun

WITH Christmas done and dusted, we’re all looking to the new year and what it might bring.

Some of us might have the goal to transform our home ahead of the next festive season.

Luckily, one proud cheapskate has shared an easy way to get brand new IKEA furniture on the cheap – and anyone can do it.

Izzy, known online as @mummy_and_matilda, regularly shares parenting tips with her 34,500 TikTok followers.

But in a new video, the savvy mum has revealed how she picked up a brand new bedside table for way cheaper, after checking out IKEA’s Circular Hub, where they sell ex-display and preloved furniture.

“Fellow cheapskates, just a reminder you can buy ex-display items from IKEA.

Someone else put: “Love the bargain corner.”

Although not all were impressed, with one writing: “25% discount. No, I’m good, I’ll take the extra £13 for a new one.

Another said: “Yes I have no problems getting a pre-built table home on the tube.”

On the IKEA website, it states: “The circular hub, online and in-store have a special selection of products ready for a brand-new life.

“When you purchase from our circular hub, you also help to reduce waste – good for you, great for the planet!

“The products available in the circular hub come to us in several ways:

“Discontinued products that are in perfect condition but are no longer being sold in store.
