A home expert has revealed four easy ways to make food last longer so you won’t waste money – and they are so simple to follow.
Instagram user @vaneshomedecor uploaded a video sharing her top tips.
She wrote: “Four ways to preserve food longer.”
Her first tip is to put a stick of celery in with your bread so it doesn’t go mouldy.
She added: “To prevent guacamole going brown, add half an inch of water and cover.”

You can also keep berries fresher by dipping them in apple cider vinegar water before storing them in the fridge.
And if you ever get frustrated by cookies going soft, you should cover them with a slice of bread.
