I put my eight-month-old daughter in beauty pageants, trolls attack me for it but she won, I knew she was a diva supreme

A PROUD mum has hit back at trolls attacking her for putting her eight-month-old daughter in beauty pageants.

The 22-year-old mum of two Alliah Harmon has now entered her daughter, Ruthie into at least two beauty pageants, winning every time.

The mum shared a YouTube video of her getting Ruthie ready for her second pageant.

Although Ruthie still needs help strutting her stuff on stage, she walked away crowned as diva supreme.

For the event, Ruthie was dressed up in a custom 'gown' in a mix of blue and pink and and extravagant beading.

Although the family of four from Birmingham, Alabama had a great time, Alliah said Ruthie was 'so tired after' and 'took the longest nap on the way home'.

Alliah also showed off Ruthie's first pageant in a TikTok video, where she had two outfit changes to make sure she beat the compitition.

Ruthie wore a yellow 'gown' inspired by Beauty and the Beast and then got changed into a bright red one with a matching head bow.

The baby made a great impression on the judges in her first show, bagging numerous awards.

Ruthie was titled the Ultimate Grand Supreme as well as winning best personality and best dressed.

Mum, Alliah couldn't be prouder of her, but trolls have targeted the mum online for putting her daughter in beauty competitions so young.

the mum explained on TikTok how she had been attacked by trolls and claimed it was because the only thing they've seen of child pageants was the TV show, Toddlers and Tiara's.

In the caption Alliah added: "I promise they’re not all the same & never will I ever force my child to do it unlike some of the mothers on that show."

But some viewers didn't seem convinced, one wrote: "Y’all do it for you. If your child isn’t even sure what’s going on it’s solely for you. The child gains nothing"

"You say you won’t force your kid but isn’t that what you’re actively doing? An 8 month old can’t consent to a pageant." Another person remarked.

A third user added: "I can’t fathom putting my child in front of others to be judged. Life will give plenty of that!"

but others agreed with Alliah, one said: "Yes! I did pageants growing up & they were so beneficial! Self confidence, public speaking/interview skills, friendships, volunteer work etc."

"I was a pageant kid, & the only problem with pageants are the parents! As long as you make it fun for her, & not a job. She will be obsessed!" Wrote another woman.

In more parenting news, one mum painted her baby's toenails so she would be beach ready.

And, a mum reveals she's trolled for dressing her baby up in glam clothes.

Plus, this mum lets her kid run around with no shoes on, people say it's dangerous but she doesn't care.
