A WOMAN was left hot under the collar after her new flame inking DISAPPEARED after just one week.

Taylor Gehris, from Florida, shared the tattoo blunder on her TikTok account, where the video has had 290,100 views since being posted.

According to the 20-year-old student, Taylor and her friend had decided to both get matching inkings of a flame design on their ring fingers.

But while the two seemed happy with what the artist created after being charged $100 (£74) each, their joys didn't last long, as a week later only a few very faint lines of the flame design remained.

''I’m just gonna take it as a learning experience and let it fade away,'' she wrote in the comments.

''It’s some BS,'' Taylor added, guessing the tattoo gun hadn't gone in deep enough.

Viewers were shocked, with some saying it was the artist's fault for not having warned the friends that fingers don't usually hold ink too well.

One wrote: ''I 100% blame the artist. Must not have had a heavy hand.
