I hated my tatty council house garden so gave it the ultimate glow up & people are shocked that it’s even the same place | The Sun

A COUPLE revealed that they recently moved into their three-bedroom council house in Essex and got to work on giving the home a makeover.

Posting on TikTok under the username @mrs_and_mrs_west, Mrs West explained that while the inside of the house needed a transformation, the front garden was getting on her nerves too.

The woman showed off her council house front garden, which was very plain and was lacking life.

The Essex garden was lacking greenery, the fence was a tired light brown colour and it was in desperate need of some TLC.

She said: “I hated this part of the house so much.

“It didn’t give off a good first impression.

The DIY fan got to work on her front garden – she gave the garden a tidy, removing all the weeds and then got to painting.
