A FIANCÉ proved her life feels like the plot of a romance movie.
Eight years after having her first kiss with a boy she met on vacation, she reconnected with him and is now planning their wedding.
TikToker Alyxandra (@alyxandraofficial) recounted their one-in-a-million kind of love story in a video for her followers.
The first image she shared was one of her as a young girl hugging a young boy.
“Meeting a special boy who lived in the Turks and Caicos in 2012,” she wrote alongside it.
The following picture saw them sharing a puppy love moment.
“We instantly liked each other. We spent the rest of my vacation together, and even shared our first kiss.
“That was my first time experiencing real young love.”
Her family vacation, however, came to an end – so the two had to part ways.
“When I had to go home, we didn’t know what would happen or if we would see each other again.

“So, we said our goodbyes, hoping that maybe we’d meet again someday.”
Although Alyxandra didn’t cross path with her crush for years, she held out hope.
“I went back with my family every other year, wanting to see him again. But the timing was never right, and we were so young to even try anything.”
Luckily, that all changed a few years later.
“Finally, during my college spring break, I went back. I knew he was going to be there because this time I reached out to him, and we started talking again.
“He eventually asked me to stay longer with him and his family so that we could spend more time together, and I said yes.”
During that time, the COVID-19 pandemic began and took their relationship down an unexpected path.
“The island went on lockdown – we were stuck together.
“We spent the whole summer falling in love. I eventually had to go back home once the island reopened, but we knew this time that we could still make it work.”
They put in the effort, visiting each other back and forth, until Alyxandra decided to drop out of college and move to Turks and Caicos to be with her boyfriend for good.
“We both wanted to spend forever with each other.”
Their mutual love of the ocean led them to start their own boat charter company, which they called Moana after their favorite Disney movie.
Then, things got more serious.
“He proposed! Now we can really be together forever. And in the same spot that we had our first kiss as kids.”
