A WOMAN has opened up about how pregnancy really affects the body.

Nisha L, who goes by mama3xxx on TikTok showed off her mum-tum on the video sharing app.


The mum-of-four discussed how she first fell pregnant when she was just 15 years old.

In one video, she revealed how many mums can still look pregnant after giving birth.

The US-based mum responded to a comment replying to the video that said: "Nobody told me and at times I feel insecure of my body right now."

Nisha said: "This is why I choose to share my postpartum journey.

"I wish that someone told me that these postpartum bodily changes can happen.

"And it's completely normal that it does happen.

"But they don't prepare you for postpartum and postpartum depression."

Nisha, now 27 revealed she first fell pregnant at 15 and wished someone had discussed the changes her body would go through such as stretch marks, loose skin and diastasis recti.

The video soon went viral with over two million views and 165k likes.

The young mum often shares videos of her natural mum-tum to help educate people, but cruel trolls still haunt the comments.

Many claim that seeing the mum's postpartum stomach is enough to put them off having kids.

One wrote: "NOTHING is worth this!!!!"

Another person remarked: "Never giving birth."

"I literally don’t want to have kids just because I’m too scared of this," penned a third.

However, plenty of people praised the mum for showing the realities of having a baby.

One person added: "Growing up I always thought your stomach just goes back to normal as soon as the baby is out. NO ONE ever talks about postpartum and it’s sad."
