As founder of the Charlene of Monaco Foundation, the South African-born royal cut a multi-tiered cake and made a speech at the event last night, December 14. She was given white roses by members of the audience, and was pictured cosying up to her husband, who put his arm around her.
As always, Charlene looked classy and elegant in a relaxed but stylish outfit.
She wore a long, grey coat with a pair of slim dark blue jeans. She matched this with a turtle neck jumper and a pair of court shoes.
The coat was the Henrik Cashmere Coat by Italian designer Loro Piana.
Costing a whopping £6,135, the brand described the coat on its website, saying: “Belted cashmere coat with a tweed-like finish inspired by Loro Piana’s classic fabrics.

“This elegant, sophisticated design drapes over the body, with a waist belt to define the silhouette.”
This is a brand new coat that Charlene hasn’t been seen wearing before. Her turtleneck jumper was new too, and also from Loro Piana.
Called the Parksville Cashmere Turtleneck, the jumper was navy blue and costs £1,220 on Loro Piana’s website.
The jumper’s description read: “Turtleneck sweater in baby cashmere with a soft, airy look. Light-weight and supremely comfortable, a refined layer to wear under a jacket.”
Charlene was wearing the navy blue version, but it also comes in mustard, black, dark grey, purple, and cayenne.
The royal matched the coat and jumper with a pair of dark blue denim jeans, giving the outfit a relaxed, casual look. These jeans were reminiscent of the pair Kate, Princess of Wales, was seen wearing on the front of her family’s Christmas card, which was released earlier this week, perhaps suggesting that an increasing number of royals are turning to jeans, even to wear in public.
Charlene completed the look with a pair of Dior Cannage Heel Navy Suede Pumps, which she has worn on multiple occasions in the past.
Her hair was in its usual stylish, peroxide Pixie cut, and she wore minimal make-up.
Royal fans were quick to comment on Charlene’s outfit, with many calling her “chic”.
