Ten years ago, Vice Golf was founded in Germany with the purpose of disrupting the golf ball market — taking on established brands like Titleist, TaylorMade, Callaway and Srixon. The goal was to offer a ball that provided comparable performance at a more accessible price point, and the brand achieved this through its direct-to-consumer model, while standing out with bold colors and designs to offer something fresh.
Now, the brand is refocusing its efforts on apparel, and following up its release from last July with three fresh sub-collections, each focusing on different areas of established or emerging golf cultures. While Florida Scramble is a juxtaposition of Miami nightlife and laidback Florida sunshine, Liberty Club pulls from New York City and big city sports heritage, and finally Carry on Tradition is a nod to Scottish golf heritage.
Starting with the Florida collection, a standout piece is The Havana Blocked Knit Polo which references the strong Cuban roots in Miami. With its intricate cable knitting the piece is reminiscent of classic guayabera shirts but with the added functionality of UPF protection, elastic sleeves and a lightweight polyester/elastane blend. Next up from the Liberty Club Collection is the Pinstripe Polo which is offered in three different colors. This collection is about putting golf alongside other time honored American sports, and the Pinstripe Polo is equally suited for a baseball diamond. Finally, the Embrace Shield Jacket proudly displays its Scottish roots with a classic tartan plaid. Ensuring form is accompanied by function, the waterproof jacket features ventilation flaps, slick YKK zippers and an elastic waist drawstring.
Pricing varies between $35 and $170 USD, and the full collection can be shopped on Vice Golf’s official website.
In other fashion news, an “Inside-Out” box logo Supreme hoodie is rumored to be releasing soon.
