UNION Los Angeles has pulled back the curtain on its Spring 2023 collection, revealing a total of 30 workwear styles made with primarily patina-rich fabrics and pleasantly unexpected treatments. With classic, SoCal design codes, the streetwear imprint continues to center its countercultural ethos in this latest range.
While saturated tones make themselves known, the collection is more dominantly defined by its muted hues of taupe, olive, brown and blue. Satin, treated in olive drab and soft pink with a vintage patina, contrasts structured military BDU, while knits are largely dense. Elsewhere, floral embroidery appears throughout — most notably, the Brittan Shirt features a garden of plants across the bottom of its short-sleeved, button-down construction.
The Hawkins Pant makes a traditional double-knee carpenter pant ready for the street, with a statement-making plaid fabric, while the Paige Pant reinvents classic workwear pants with an elastic waist and pocket details inspired by a track pant. Printed shorts, long-sleeve T-shirts, crewneck sweaters and hoodies round out the quintessential streetwear lineup, boasting varying iterations of UNION LA’s recognized motifs.
UNION Los Angeles Spring 2023 releases on March 2nd at 9 a.m. PST, with a second delivery on March 30, at UNION LA, UNION TOKYO, UNION OSAKA and on the brand’s website.
