Hours ahead of Astroworld‘s commencement, Travis Scott has returned with the official video for his newly-released track, “ESCAPE PLAN.”
The visual, which Scott co-directed alongside Eliel Ford and White Trash Tyler, firsrt sees the 29-year-old rapper play the new track from inside his car in an isolated area. The scene then switches to outside a mansion, where a security team stands by while La Flame raps from atop a hill with guard dogs on duty. Scott then lugs a Louis Vuitton case onto a jet, takes a joyride on an ATV and rides waves in a motorboat alongside his crew before heading out to a party in the final sequence of the video.
Scott first debuted the song live at Rolling Loud New York, where he publicly performed the new verse following several teasers. The Houston rapper officially released the track on Friday, in tandem with “MAFIA,” which hears production from Jahaan Sweet and Boi-1da and a contribution from J. Cole.
The tracks are slated to land on Scott’s upcoming album Utopia, which has not yet received an official release date. Fans are hoping to receive an update regarding the album’s debut during Asrtroworld 2021, which will include performances from Young Thug, SZA, Chief Keef, Bad Bunny and more.
