Titleist sub brand Scotty Cameron has announced the release of its latest tour-inspired Phantom models. Every putter hallmarks stainless steel faces with new configurations and neck designs.
The Phantom X 5 and Phantom X 5.5 models boast a makeover and supersede the present putters. The recently-developed Phantom X 11 and Phantom X 11.5 were refined with a moderately compact framework in the Phantom X 12 and 12.5 models. The precision milled 303 stainless steel was constructed with a solid stainless steel face transferred through to the body/wings and fused with an aluminum sole/flange module. Every new Phantom X setup progressed with a demand for additional condensed universal head sizes, stylish swept-back wings, and more tour-like shapes. The clubs are also constructed with a steel shaft arranged to lessen face rotation throughout the putting stroke by mixing a single “mid-bend” zero in on the target line. The Phantom X 5.5 makes use of the small slant neck made with its smooth shaft-over layout. The Phantom X 11.5 has a stepless steel shaft with a distinct “low-bend” tailored for the target line to advance an arc path for more toe flow, while the putting stroke is altered to feel sharper.
If you’re shopping for an advanced putter, the Scotty Cameron Phantom X is priced at $430 USD and is available on March 26 at Titleist authorized golf shops globally.
