Along with the underground streetwear label GOD SELECTION XXX, a collaboration golf bag with Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s fragment design has just appeared out of Japan. The bag has been produced by Vessel, an omnipresent force in the golf space that designs the staff bags for pretty much every major brand from TaylorMade to Callaway and Cobra. And we can’t lie, it’s one of the biggest fairway flexes we’ve seen all year.
The bag is based on Vessel’s Player III Stand, featuring a minimal design with an all-black synthetic leather body weighing in at 6.35 lbs. The shoulder straps are accented with a white embroidered graphic that combines the GOD SELECTION XXX and fragment design logos. Additional moments of co-branding occur throughout, including an X with thunderbolts on the main storage compartment and the fragment design thunderbolt logo placed on the ball pocket. Meanwhile, Vessel’s signature branding is placed on other key areas, appearing as a spell-out and a V combined with a golf tee. Performance wise, the bag features a 6-way divider with a microfiber lining to prevent club scratching plus antimicrobial lined pockets to stow your personal belongings.
The GOD SELECTION XXX x fragment design collaboration golf bag will be available at GOD SELECTION XXX Harajuku, Osaka and Nagoya stores as well as the online store from Saturday, August 19. The price is ¥143,000 JPY (tax included), approximately $990 USD.
