This season, outerwear label Save The Duck reunites with long-standing collaborator Satoshi Yamane to design a new Pro-Tech collection. The latest arrival marks the third range that the Japanese designer has executed for the newly introduced performance line, seeing its overall look and feel more defined than ever.
As with Yamane’s previous collections, the Fall/Winter 2023 drop features technical interpretations of Save The Duck’s best-selling pieces, adding extra utility and protection. A clean-cut wind-breaker jacket lands with a new insulated lining, heat-sealed seams and concealed cuffed sleeves whilst a compact puffer proposes a smart option for cooler climates, boasting the same components as well as a 3D embossing.
Adding to the range’s technical properties, Save The Duck partners with material manufacturers Toray who exclusively engineers a water and wind-resistant material for the outer shell of each jacket. In keeping with the brand’s high social and environmental standards, the new fabric also adopts a PFC-free membrane.
Other details across the new collection include noticeably bright accents of vibrant tones on the lining and inner hood which complement the vibrant tones of the wider FW23 collection.
