After hosting an exclusive New Era® collaboration release back in 2020, Seoul-based retailer HEIGHTS and South Korea collective Dadaism Club‘s fledgling 다다DADA多多 imprint come together once again for a playful offering.
Dubbed the “DADA KOSPI PACK, ” the range features T-shirts and mugs inspired by recent interest in investing and South Korea’s Korea Composite Stock Price Index, an index of all common stocks traded on the Stock Market Division. Much like the S&P 500 in the United States, the KOSPI is the representative stock market index of South Korea. HEIGHTS and 다다DADA多多 enlisted local creative Moonba of brands molar, BEM and FOE to assist with the graphic design of the team-up.
Leading the release are Upper Limit Price and Lower Limit Price T-shirts that draw from actual KOSPI figures underscored with 다다DADA多多’s signature logo. While the final tee references the Dead Cat Bounce meme that has been a major part of the recent perspective on investing. All three designs are also emblazoned on classic coffee mugs or mini espresso mugs.
The “DADA KOSPI PACK” will be available via a pop-up at HEIGHTS EXCHANGE at The Hyundai Seoul June 19-20 with a follow-up release on HEIGHTS’ website to follow. To celebrate the release HEIGHTS and 다다DADA多多 also tapped DJ-producer Johann Electric Bach for an hour-long mix which can be enjoyed below.
