Raf Simons' SS22 Skeleton Ring Has the Whole World In Its Hand

Raf Simons‘ Spring/Summer 2022 collection was a return to form for the Belgian fashion designer, serving up couture bomber jackets, genderless tailoring and twisted school uniforms, and now a ring that follows a recent theme that’s run through numerous collections as of late. Taking inspiration from the skeleton hand arm cuff that debuted during the designer’s FW21 runway show, the skeleton hand now takes the form of a ring.

A simplistic circular ring — comprising a thick band that’s engraved with branding — is presented in silver-toned brass that’s been given a high-polish finish. Here, a pendant hook drops down, holding a skeleton’s hand in place with a small amount of free movement.

The hand itself is holding a sphere, perhaps commenting on having the whole world in your hands. Coming in sizes 12 to 18, the ring can be seen above and bought from retailers such as The Broken Arm now for precisely $714.20 USD.

In other news, NIGO’s next KENZO collection is dropping later this week.
