Pete Davidson has cleared up all that BDE chatter about his penis, vowing that it’s ‘really not that special’.
The former Saturday Night Live comedian has faced some odd speculation about his body ever since he started dating former fiancée Ariana Grande, who alluded to him being blessed in that department in 2018.
This led to the 29-year-old unwittingly becoming the face of BDE – or ‘big d**k energy’ – something that has only intensified over the years following his high-profile relationships with Kim Kardashian, Emily Ratajkowski and Phoebe Dynevor.
During an appearance on The Breakfast Club, he attempted to set the record straight, admitting he didn’t ‘understand’ the attention.
‘It’s really not that special. It’s a very normal-sized penis. It’s not too big or too small. I don’t understand that,’ he told the host.
‘It’s big enough to enjoy and not big enough for it to hurt, is what I was told…’
The Bupkis actor found himself cemented in the BDE hall of fame during his short-lived engagement to Ariana, who offered up a very TMI insight into their romance when discussing a track she wrote about him.
After a fan asked how ‘long’ Pete was – in regards to the track – she jokingly replied: ‘Like 10 inches… oh f**k … I mean … like a lil over a minute [sic].’
Following their split, he went on to date Kaia Gerber, as well as Kim, Phoebe and Kate Beckinsale, and has most recently been linked to Bodies Bodies Bodies co-star Chase Sui Wonders.
It’s fair to say that his love life has made more than a few headlines over the years, which has left him truly baffled.
In a recent interview with Jon Bernthal on the Real Ones, Pete addressed the public interest in his love life.
‘I think what happened was, I became more known before the work was there. But I was always working. Look, I’m in my 20s and I’ve dated people and for some reason that is very crazy and interesting to people,’ the comedian said.
‘I don’t think it’s that interesting. I’ve been in showbusiness for half my life almost, for like 14, 15 years, and on a national TV show.
‘And in 12 years, I’ve dated like, 10 people, I don’t really think that’s that crazy.
‘But to some people, it seems very interesting.’
