Paramount has just unveiled a brand new animated Transformers series over at San Diego Comic-Con titled EarthSpark. Debuting this November, the show will feature a 26-episode season and follow a whole new species of Transformers known as Terrans, who were brought to life by two young humans.
Named Twitch and Thrash, the two explore their relationship with Robby and Morgan Malta while finding their place and purpose among the Autobots and Decepticons. Nickelodeon‘s Claudia Spinelli says that the series will feature “both original characters and fan-favorites.”
Twitch, Thrash, Robby and Morgan will be voiced by Kathreen Khavari, Zeno Robinson, Sydney Mikayla and Zion Broadnax respectively, all joined by Danny Pudi as Bumblebee, Alan Tudyk as Optimus Prime, Benny Latham and Jon Jon Briones as Dot and Alex Malto, Rory McCann as Megatron, Cissy Jones as ELITA-1, and Diedrich Bader as Mandroid. Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles‘ Ant Ward and Transformers: Rescue Bots‘ Nicole Dubuc will serve as executive producers.
Slated to air select Nickelodeon channels and stream on Paramount+, Transformers: EarthSpark will arrive in November.
In other entertainment news, Disney+ is rebooting Eragon with a new live-action series.
