Barbour is predominantly marketed towards the crowd with sophisticated style, but it will often tap tap into the streetwear audience and sphere by partnering with imprints like and Wander and Supreme for collaborative capsules. And to kick off the spring season, it has now tapped Palm Angels to a new project that see it reimagining its signature Bedale Wax Jacket in vivid new colors. This marks the first joint effort between these two parties.
Francesco Ragazzi‘s luxury label has remixed the unisex outerwear garment in a trio of playful colorways including a hot pink, bold yellow and a bright orange, which is a refreshing sight to see considering that this piece is traditionally done up in muted, earthy tones. Inspiration for this assemblage is drawn from high visibility vests and coats that are often sported in North America. On the back of each piece comes a “Palm Angels” spell-out that is embroidered on the right side just above its rear button panel.
