On-Foot View of the Shelflife x Air Jordan 2 Low

2022 has without a doubt been an amazing year for the Air Jordan 2. For the first time since its debut in 1986, the silhouette has entered the mainstream spotlight thanks to its wealth of collaborators that have reimagined it this year. In the second half of the year, the model will continue to be brought to the frontlines with more GRs and team-ups, the latter of which will include this Shelflife x Air Jordan 2 Low.

The South Africa-located sneaker retailer goes for a minimalistic presentation here and slightly adjusts the materials for the upper. A majority of the base leans on a “Sail” hue to do most of the talking. It covers the traditional scaly collars as well as the shaggy suede fabric that makes up the toe boxes and quarters, as well as the suede toe tip overlays. Additional accents can be seen via the ribbed heel counters that appear with more of a tan exterior as well as the tongue logos and the outsoles that feature bursts of orange. Further Jumpman branding also appears on the hang tags.

Check out a closer look above and expect more information about these to emerge in the coming months.

Elsewhere in sneakers, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Lost & Found” is coming packaged with an ’80s receipt.
