Niall Horan reveals beauty regime including favourite 'big balls' on his face

Niall Horan has treated fans to his full beauty regime, from hair to skin to ‘big balls.’

The former One Direction star, who has found success as a solo artist since the band’s hiatus in 2016, has been in the spotlight since he was a teenager and says he has learned in recent years how important it is to take care of his skin.

Joking that his looks were vital to his job and he wanted to keep the ‘baby face’ as long as possible, Niall shared his routine in a 10-minute video.

The Cold Hands star teamed up with Vogue for the clip, in which Niall could be seen in a bathrobe with damp hair, as he began by rubbing mouse into his hair and blowdrying it to get his trademark quiff.

He added that he had been dying his hair blonde since he was around 12 years old, but doubted he would go back to it at this stage as it involved hours of sitting at the hairdresser’s and it was much easier to be ‘natural Niall.’

A stand-out moment of Niall’s routine was when he declared he had the ‘biggest and best thing’ for his face: ‘The big silver balls.’

Exactly what it said on the tin, Niall produced two big silver balls which he rolled around on his face, explaining that ‘once they get working, they can just take some of that swelling out of your face.

‘Out of all the things I use I see the most effect off these.’

The musician added that he makes sure to always have them with him whether he’s at home or abroad, saying: ‘I always have mine in the freezer, when I’m in a hotel I keep them in a bucket of ice.

‘And I just roll them around a little bit.’

Niall pointed out that, as men, they are ‘against skincare’ for some reason, asking: ‘Do we give up some of our masculinity if we admit to using moisturiser? We need our skin too, lads.’

It’s been a stellar month for content for fans of Niall, with the Irish musician recently announcing his third solo album is on the way.

Following the release of new single Heaven, Niall confirmed new album The Show would be released in June, saying he ‘couldn’t possibly be more happy’ to share the news.

‘This album is a piece of work I’m so proud of and now it’s time to pass it over to you to go and make it your own,’ the songwriter added.
