As part of the ongoing WAIST TO TOE apparel series, New Balance‘s Japanese branch is introducing a new selection of clothing designed to naturally complete NB sneakers. MET24 is a hybrid collection that includes both sportswear and tailoring, fusing both by way of neutral colors, effortless cuts and functional fabrics.
For the tailored side, New Balance Japan has crafted five sleek pieces of outerwear and five complementary trousers. A double-breasted short coat, two blazers, a coaches jacket and harrington make perfect partners for a series of cropped, tapered trousers that are all cut from sturdy, crisp Solotex that’s both stretchy and fade-resistant. Eight pieces of sportswear — track jackets, pants, sweaters and two Tyvek pieces — round out this initial MET24 offering, serving up looser cuts and subtle text branding than the tailored lineup.
Shop the new MET24 goods on New Balance Japan’s web store, where you can also peruse the imprint’s technical new 574 sneaker.
Most recently, New Balance teased an unexpected forthcoming collaboration with BAPE.
