With Ash and Pikachu saying their goodbye soon, the future of animated shows and movies for Pokémon is wide open. Alongside exciting reveals such as the long-awaited launch of Pokémon Sleep, DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, a new Pokémon TCG Classic Box Set and more, this year’s Pokémon Day also saw the announcement of the first project from Netflix and The Pokémon Company.
Titled Pokémon Concierge, an ambitious stop-motion animation show by dwarf studios is on the way. Its setting features a Pokémon Resort that sees Haru — a concierge — and Psyduck meet a variety of Pokémon and Trainers who are on vacation. The teaser holds off on revealing much, though with its inclusion of a Wingull in its logo, fans can expect more than just the original 151 Pokémon to be present.
Enjoy the show’s first trailer above and stay tuned for more information as it is currently simply slated as “coming soon” to Netflix.
For more of the latest in entertainment, The Pokémon Company revealed a first look at two of its upcoming anime series’ supporting characters — Friede and Captain Pikachu.
