From Jackson Pollock to Vincent Van Gogh, there’s no shortage of artist collaborations when it comes to Medicom Toy’s famed BE@RBRICK. One of the company’s latest offerings features a collaborative BE@RBRICK paying homage to renowned American artists, Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat. The new iteration marks the third collaborative BE@RBRICK focusing on the two artists.
Staying in line with previous BE@RBRICK artist collaborations, the new offering features both the 400% and 100% sizes. With a golden yellow base color, the toy features Basquiat’s signature neo-expressionism and Warhol’s modern art styles. From abstract symbols to block letter words, the collaboration includes an array of colors like coral, burgundy, cerulean blue, black and white. Finishing off the BE@RBRICK is Warhol’s signature and Basquiat’s name with his signature crown on the toy’s back in black and white.
Retailing for $200, the Andy Warhol x Jean-Michel Basquiat BE@RBRICK #3 is available now at HBX.
