For the upcoming fall/winter 2021 season, Loewe launches a nature-inspired collection that’s bursting with color. From its sub-label Eye/LOEWE/Nature, the collection presents a range of garments that are meant to live in the elements.
With environmental sustainability as a focal point, the collection utilizes upcycling as a means of repurposing fabrics to create new life. As such, patchwork styles are seen throughout the collection, which contributes to the collection’s overall vibrance as it is the product of different textures, styles and colors. Loewe blends elements of vintage, outdoor and military styles with sportswear elements to produce new garments. As such, tents turned into trench coats and tweed met its match with sports jackets.
Additionally, the collection’s knitwear features come in an array of soft and toned down pieces to bold knits, which feature copious amounts of color and patterns. Fair isle knits fused with fleece to foster hybrid knitwear garments. Complimenting the knitwear pieces are wide-leg pants that come in a variety of colors and fabrics such as corduroy.
Overall, the collection’s garments contain relaxed silhouettes for easy-going and practical pieces. Additional details include washed and bleached fabrics for a distressed quality. Topping off the collection are multicolored hiking boots and accessories including technical bags, hats and more.
The collection is available now on LOEWE’s website and at Casa LOEWE in London.
