After revealing a replica of the Nissan GT-R R34 from 2 Fast 2 Furious, LEGO now readies a Bugatti Bolide set. The build arrives as part of the Technic series, which uses specialized pieces such as motors and other pneumatic elements to offer more functionality than regular bricks. First unveiled as a concept in October 2020, Bugatti announced the production of its Bolide hyper sports car in an ultra-limited edition run of 40 units late last year. Voted as “the world’s most beautiful hypercar” at the 36th festival Automobile International, the Bolide matches its looks with a quad-turbo W16 engine producing 1,824 bhp.
The upcoming set replicates the looks and details of the race car featuring a working W16 engine, steering, and scissor doors. Found in a yellow and black color scheme, sticker decals are included for customization. Consisting of 905 blocks, the set measures 12 inches long and 5 inches wide.
Look for LEGO’s Bugatti Bolide set to release on January 1 via LEGO’s website and official channels for $50 USD.
