In 2021, Jordan Brand introduced yet another rework of the line’s first shoe, the Air Jordan 1, with the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate. Debuting in an all-black look with a fur-liner, the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate has since been outfitted with a more traditional lining as found on the all-white pair that released last winter. Now, after seeing some simplified colorways release, iconic “Royal Blue” accents land on the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate “Royal Toe.”
Maintaining the original’s high-top form, the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate offers a familiar look with a weather-resistant twist. Nearly transforming the sneaker into a boot, the silhouette favors heavy-duty leathers, sealed toebox perforations and metal D-ring eyelets at the top of the tongue. With the “Royal Toe” treatment, the upper begins with white at its base and black landing on the mudguard, laces, lacing system, collar and Swooshes. “Royal Blue” enters the mix via the toebox, Swoosh outlines, heel, branding and serves as the central color of the outsole. This detailed upper rests atop a thick white midsole with black on the outsole encompassing the aforementioned blue, completing this winter-ready look.
A release date for the Air Jordan 1 Acclimate “Royal Toe” has not been announced yet. However, expect this pair to hit shelves ahead of the winter season via Nike and select retailers at a price of $150 USD.
In case you missed it, the Air Jordan 1 High “Taxi” is set to release this September.
