Joel Dommett and wife Hannah Cooper welcome first child and reveal unusual name

Joel Dommett and Hannah Cooper have announced they have become parents.

The couple shared the news in May that they were expecting their first child together, later cuddling up on the red carpet as Joel proudly cradled Hannah’s baby bump.

Now they have confirmed they have become a family of three with the arrival of a baby son.

Hannah and Joe issued a shared statement on Instagram featuring a black and white photograph of their newborn’s feet wrapped up in a blanket.

They wrote jokingly: ‘Pinterest perfect baby feet that are already bigger than his Dad’s.’

In addition to the sweet snap, they revealed their son’s name: Wilde Cooper-Dommett.

The announcement led to a massive outpouring of love from fans and friends, with Laura Whitmore among the first to congratulate them.

She wrote: ‘Here comes all the fun! Congrats you two.’

Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Thomas appeared lost for words, as he wrote simply ‘Guys,’ along with a series of kisses.

TV personality Dr Rank wrote: ‘Congrats you beautiful bunch,’ while Roman Kemp left a heart emoji and Kimberly Wyatt offered her ‘congrats.’

Hannah and Joel had announced their baby news in a post shared on Instagram on May 3 this year.

Alongside two sets of black and white photo booth snaps revealing her bump, Hannah captioned the upload: ‘Does anyone know how to change a nappy?’

She then added in a brutal quip: ‘Because Joel has s**t himself.’

Joel recently opened up about the prospect of becoming a dad, admitting that he’s a bundle of nerves.

Speaking on The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show, he said: ‘I really have no idea what I’m doing, but I think, hopefully, I’ll be a fun dad.’

Joel and Hannah tied the knot in Mykonos in 2019 after close to three years of dating.
