Heritage Meets Future for ROA’s All-New FW23 Collection

Emerging hiking and fashion brand ROA has just teased its new Fall/Winter 2023 collection, which brings together heritage needlework with the brand’s future-facing design ethos.

The label – led by creative director Patrick Stangbye – has collaborated with the likes of A-COLD-WALL*, Our Legacy, and Brain Dead, while the footwear and garment drops have also been spotted on musicians and public figures, Drake and Playboi Carti.

Now, the brand is ready to deliver another collection of technically-focused garments for FW23, with pieces complete with waterproof fabrications and outdoor-ready designs primed for exploration.

The collection starts with a pair of high-riding exploration boots. The design comes coated in a khaki green hue, while the GORE-TEX and Vibram technology comes together to create an ideal hiking-meets-military silhouette.

Furthermore, a collection of trench coats have been unveiled, with new outerwear designed in contemporary styles with various technical pockets perfect for holding camping and outdoor equipment.

Other stand-outs come in the form of a quilted gilet, complemented by a low-riding hood. The light green design also comes packed with further pockets implemented into the chest area of the design.

You can take a closer first look at the new FW23 collection from ROA above and you can expect to see it IRL for the first time at Paris Fashion Week on February 17.

In other news, Paris Saint-Germain and Jordan Brand have presented a new collaborative apparel collection.
