Hender Scheme has teamed up with Clarks Originals to rework the classic Desert Boot. The inaugural collaboration between the two brands that specialize in leather shoes presents the signature suede silhouette in sand and black colorways.
The new “Desert Seam” boot has been updated with a new “peace tip” design on the toe that takes its inspiration from the peace symbol. Additionally, the shoe’s upper, lining and dual tag, are constructed from 100 percent genuine cow leather. Finishing off the shoe is Clarks Originals’ signature crepe sole.
Earlier this month, Clarks Originals teamed up with Sweet Chick for a chicken and waffle-inspired Wallabee collaboration. The silhouette features hairy and smooth suede fabrics with waffle embossing, speckled throat/tongue sections reminiscent of chicken seasoning, waxed laces and the classic crepe gum sole.
Retailing for ¥31,900 JPY (about $278 USD), the lottery for the collaborative shoe opens Tuesday, December 28 on Hender Scheme’s website.
