Over the last year, Mizuno and Japanese soccer team Nagoya Grampus have collaborated on a series of capsule collections that pay homage to the club’s ‘93 jersey. Now, HANON has joined in on the effort to redesign the signature jersey.
For the collaborative capsule, the brands illustrate Nagoya Grampus’ history through the usage of city-related symbolism. The soccer team’s name comes from the two holden Grampus dolphins on top of Nagoya Castle and the Maru-Hachi, which is the city’s official symbol. The collection’s soccer jersey comes in white with gray detailing and a solid gray collar. Also visualized on the jersey is the Nagoya Grampus Maru-Hachi logo, a chest-embroidered “M,” the classic dolphin logo and the Mizuno logo.
Complimenting the jersey is a ‘93 track jacket complete with a black base and a geometric design in light and dark gray. Finishing off the jacket is a rubbed collar and cuffs, two side pockets and the Nagoya Grampus and Mizuno logos.
The HANON x Mizuno x Nagoya Grampus capsule collection launches on Friday, November 5, via an online raffle that is now open on HANON’s website.
