Fear of God is prepping to drop the first delivery from its hotly-anticipated ETERNAL collection, on December 7. The range, which first debuted in April of this year, is injected with an immortal mentality, championing the label’s modern design codes with ageless cuts and enduring tones.
Across myriad hues and styles, the collection exudes quiet confidence with timeless silhouettes that, in the brand’s words, “transcend trends, decades or the traditional fashion cycle.” Centering on what makes a piece everlasting, Fear of God reinvents its signature shapes with Italian textiles and expert tailoring.
“When we started the collection, the intention was to chase perpetuity, timelessness, sophistication and elegance. As the collection developed, more and more it just felt eternal,” said Fear of God founder and creative director Jerry Lorenzo. “The collection didn’t feel like a number or a season, it felt like something that could live forever, so everything that was considered in this offering was designed with those guardrails.”
Standouts include an updated California Blazer, rid of pockets and notch lapels, as well as architectural sweatsuits with Harrington coat references and three-dimensional logo embossment. Notably, 14 and 7-gauge merino stitch cashmere knits and calfskin napa leather are weaved throughout the line, and Japanese denim (made in Los Angeles) salutes Americana.
The first delivery from the ETERNAL collection will arrive exclusively on Fear of God’s website on December 7. The second installment, which includes Italian-made knits, will be available on January 11, 2023.
