Euphoria isn’t holding back this season. The first two episodes of season two have been packed with drama, from Rue (Zendaya) relapsing to Cassie (Sydney Sweeney), Maddy (Alexa Demie), and Nate’s (Jacob Elordi) complicated love triangle and Nate’s brutal beatdown from Fezco (Angus Cloud). But did you happen to catch the Game of Thrones Easter egg in the latest episode?
As Kat (Barbie Ferreira) and Ethan (Austin Abrams) are making out in her room, we see Kat fantasize about her ideal relationship, which is a lot more intense than her romance with Ethan. When Ethan goes into her bathroom, blood starts gushing out of his chest and he falls to the floor. A shirtless, muscular man then appears on screen and comes in to swoop Kat off her feet. Turns out, that muscular man is a nod to Jason Momoa’s Game of Thrones character, Khal Drogo — specifically, his scenes with Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen.
