David Haye teases 'unexpected opening' in his 'team' after 'throuple' ended

David Haye has gone all cryptic on us following reports of Una Healy ending her three-way relationship with the boxer and his girlfriend.

Rumours first started swirling over the New Year that the sports star, 42, and The Saturdays singer, 41, were in a ‘throuple’ with David’s model partner, Sian Osborne, 30.

The trio shared a series of cosy snaps to social media as they soaked up the sun in Morocco, holding hands at the dinner table and posing in the swimming pool.

Speaking out on his relationships with the women, the fighter previously stated vaguely: ‘What I do behind closed doors is between me and the girls involved.’

However, on Valentine’s Day last month, he appeared to confirm that the reports are true with an Instagram post.

But, following a whirlwind few months, the rumoured throuple is said to have now come to an end, with Una deleting all traces of the couple from her social media, and David now hinting at an ‘unexpected opening’ in his and Sian’s team.

Sharing a picture to Instagram, the boxer posed alongside Sian and other girls at SXM – an electronic music festival – in St Martin.

He wrote in his caption: ‘We experienced an unexpected opening in our team, but the invigorating atmosphere at the @sxmfestival ensures that we’ll soon have a full roster.’

Naturally, his followers were quick to pick up on the subliminal messaging, and there were also plenty of jokes about the fighter surrounding himself with four other pretty women.

‘Has David haye gone from a trouple to a quintet!!! Una Healy must have been something else if it took three to replace her 🤣🤣 [sic]’, one mocked.

‘Here he goes, recruiting a replacement for his Thruple 😂 [sic]’, one laughed.

Clearly unimpressed, another person blasted: ‘Not that he will care but time to unfollow Mr Haye! Liked him for his boxing! Now he thinks he’s Hugh Hefner! But it’s cringe and embarrassing.’

But there were other fans totally unbothered by what the pair get up to behind closed doors.

‘Nice to see you enjoying yourself out of the ring🤝’, one commented.

‘Grown up folk…doing whatever they want to do…didn’t realise social media was this pure, they get triggered by adult men/women having fun 🙄’, another quipped.

David’s post comes after Una confirmed she is indeed single.

The Irish star said she is focusing now on parenting her two children, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Ben Foden, 37.

‘I am single and raising my two children, just like many other single parents – both men and women – doing a great job. I am a single parent. I don’t like the term single mother as it has negative connotations,’ the star began.

‘You can’t do it all by yourself. There is no shame in asking for help, be that from childcare, family or friends.’

Una continued to The Irish Mirror: ‘I am often asked how I juggle it all as a single parent but men aren’t asked that.

‘In fact, I can never remember a time when I heard a man being asked how he juggles it all. Mothers don’t have a choice if they are single – you just get on with it.’
