Hennessy X.O has recently presented an all-new collaborative capsule with British Artistic Director Kim Jones, marking a new chapter in the Maison Hennessy legacy that saw the cognac brand work with a fashion designer for the first time.
This collaboration sees Jones reimagine the Hennessy X.O bottle, create a new Masterpiece decanter as well as translate his creative vision into a limited-edition sneaker inspired by the partnership, the HNY Low. When speaking with Hypebeast about the launch of his new shoe, Jones said: “I wanted it to feel like you’re almost looking into the bottle. It’s a glass of cognac in sneaker form.”
To celebrate the partnership, the pair have launched an immersive pop-up at UK-based retailer FLANNELS’ flagship store in Oxford Street, London. Within the pop-up, visitors will have the chance to shop the three stand-out products from the collaboration within a cleanly-lit layout, hit with co-branded elements, and an interactive screen, allowing you to step into Hennessy X.O’s futuristic world reimagined by Kim Jones.
Continuing the celebration, Hennessy will welcome MOBO award-winning artist Knucks to the retailer on April 13. The rapper is set to perform a series of records from his critically-acclaimed, Alpha Place — the album shone throughout the UK with hit records such as “Leon The Professional,” “Nice & Good” featuring SL, “Die Hard” with Stormzy, and the Breaking Bad-inspired single, “Los Pollos Hermanos.”
