Ashley Graham sleeps with mouth taped shut and insists everyone should try it

Ashley Graham has an … interesting sleeping habit and insists everyone should try it.

The model, 35, has made headlines in recent months, including for her weight loss and the painfully awkward interview with Hugh Grant which was so cringe-inducing it went viral.

Now Ashley is again making the news as she showed off how she prepared for Cannes Film Festival – and it’s certainly unique.

The mum-of-three shared a photograph to Instagram of herself having a snooze in bed, with her skincare routine complete, pink earplugs in to help her sleep soundly through the night – and tape over her lips.

In a caption over her photo, she explained: ‘I started taping my mouth shut when I sleep and I have never slept better – and even better when I wake up.’

She added: ‘Don’t knock it till you try it!’

Mouth taping has become somewhat of a trend recently, amid claims it helps to stop snoring and prevents bad breath.

There are also some who claim that mouth taping is good for weight loss, but some doctors have warned against it, arguing that it can be dangerous for people with certain health conditions.

Unfortunately, there’s very little clinical research on mouth taping itself, although one small pilot study of 30 patients did find that it was a useful device in reducing levels of snoring.

Ashley has been attending the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this week, and showcased her transformed body in some incredible outfits, including a baby blue ruffled with a trail that draped far behind her.

Ashley married husband Justin Ervin in 2010, with the pair going on to welcome three children together: Isaac, three, and twins Malachi and Roman, two.

The star was massively praised for showing off her natural body at the 2022 VMAs, with a cutout dress which showed her stomach, complete with stretch marks after creating her children.

She had also shared an unfiltered snap of her body to Instagram, where she wrote: ‘Hi, new tummy. We’ve been through a lot.

‘Thank you. #3monthspostpartum.’
