After coming together back in October for a jiu-jitsu-themed release, Albino & Preto and the Wu-Tang Clan have come together for Part II of their collection. Continuing the theme of the inaugural release, the latest offering is once again inspired by the iconic hip-hop group and its history with martial arts.
The Wu-Tang Clan x Albino & Preto collection Part II features a jiu-jitsu kimono, hoodie, bucket hat, handmade rug and towel. Featuring Wu-Tang’s signature mix of gold/black drawn from his Killer Bees motif, the range is marked by various logos and slogans from tracks like “Bring Da Ruckus and “Protect Ya Neck.”
Leading the special release is a 450 pearl weave kimono set with a white body and yellow accents. “Shaolin” is embroidered on the left shoulder with a stack of A&P Mark logos on the opposite side. The Wu logo and Worldwide logo also appear on the front and back, alongside embroidered slogans. While the pants are marked with a stack of Worldwide logos and “Albino & Preto” in Wu-Tange script. The Wu-Tang script is continued on the rear of the pants accompanied by the Wu logo at the bottom.
Aside from the similarly designed hoodie, bucket hat and jacquard towel is the custom Wu Logo Rug. Crafted by Noreen Seabrook, a pioneer in Nepalese Tibetan carpet and rug weaving, the handmade three feet in length rug expresses the A&P Mark inside the iconic Wu logo.
Check out the accompanying campaign video below and look for Part II of the Wu-Tang Clan Albino & Preto collection to be available on A&P’s website April 6, 2 p.m. EDT.
