What?! Vernon Kay’s HUGE back tattoo of Eli Manning’s face has revealed to be a fake after he told the NFL star (right) he had it inked in 2012 after losing a bet!
Hilarious: In a Sunday Instagram post, he wrote: ‘Finally got to show #elimanning my punishment for betting against him and @nygiants in 2012. Link in bio. He was quite surprised!!’
However, it seems the image is only semi-permanent and was in fact a stunt cooked by the same firm that create the fake tattoos for the stars of BBC’s Peaky Blinders.
Vernon’s wife Tess Daly was reportedly in on the joke but the same can’t be said of their children Phoebe, 17, and Amber, 13.
A source told The Sun: ‘The tattoo totally tricked his own kids.’
MailOnline has contacted Vernon’s representatives for comment.

He admitted that he’d lost a wager over who would win the Super Bowl that year, having backed the New England Patriots over the New York Giants.
Appearing on the programme at London pub, he told the former American football quarterback, 41, ‘In 2012, someone was in the Super Bowl…
‘You were playing the quarterback who is the godfather of my children, Tom Brady.
‘Big fan of Tom Brady. I said the Patriots would win and my best friend said that you guys would win. Obviously you guys won.’
Fooled you! Vernon’s wife Tess Daly was reportedly in on the joke but the same can’t be said of their children Phoebe, 17, and Amber, 13
When Eli asked: ‘How did that work out for you?’ Vernon lifted his shirt to expose the star’s face, who said, ‘Oh my God,’ before rubbing it to check its authenticity.
He told the Bolton-native: ‘I think it looks great. You’re lucky it’s a good looking guy back there.’
The NFL’s International Series has brought American football to London this month.
One game has already taken place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with another happening on Sunday night, and a third at Wembley Stadium on October 30.
