‘It will be something really special’: Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey reveals she will have her late husband’s ashes made into jewellery for their children
Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey has revealed that she will have her late husband’s ashes made into ‘special’ jewellery for their two young children.
The Wanted star, who tragically lost his battle with brain cancer in March aged 33, left behind daughter Aurelia, two and 20-month-old Bodhi.
And now Kelsey, 32, says she will gift the meaningful tokens to her children when the time is right, as well as to the late singer’s mother Noreen.

She told The Sun: ‘It will be something really special the kids can have and it will be given to them at a certain time, but I don’t know when yet,’ she explained.’
Adding: ‘They have lost their dad so they need me to be as strong as possible for them at the moment. I think people are like, ‘Wow, I can’t believe she is actually dealing with it,’ but I don’t really have any other choice but to deal with it’.
It comes after Kelsey discussed the children’s first ‘hard’ Father’s Day without Tom in a recent heart-breaking Instagram video.
In the clip the actress revealed she was wearing her late husband’s T-shirt and believed he would be ‘shining on us’ throughout the day.

She began: ‘Hi guys. Say hi guys, both. We just wanted to jump on and say a massive, massive thank you for all of your messages today. Don’t we? We want to say thank you.
‘Today will be a hard day for us as a family but the sun is out shining, he’s out there shining, isn’t he daddy’s shining on us today.
‘I’m wearing his top today because if you’re having a bad day, guys, just smile and it will make everything better.
‘And those are chicken pox on his face, he’s got the pox, we’re just gonna spend a lovely day together as a family today.
‘Aurelia has picked out her favourite dress and Bodhi has got his superhero…’
In her caption, she wrote: ‘I had an inbox full of lovely messages before 9am this morning and I can’t tell you how much it helped me put on my best smile and get up this morning.
‘Father’s Day is not easy for everyone but it’s a chance to celebrate all the amazing Dads out there including Tom and celebrating him is currently my favourite thing to do.

Kelsey previously revealed Aurelia is ‘very confused’ by Tom’s death and believes he is on tour.
She admitted the two-year-old ‘doesn’t quite get that he’s not coming back’, even after being ‘really blunt’ and telling her ‘he’s dead’, while speaking on Lorraine.
Kelsey said: ‘Whenever she sees pictures of her dad, she’s like, “It’s my dad!” She’ll be three at the end of this month.
Oh no: She admitted the two-year-old ‘doesn’t quite get that he’s not coming back’, even after being ‘really blunt’ and telling her ‘he’s dead’
‘I’ve been really honest, she does still talk about him every day, she doesn’t quite understand he’s not coming back.
‘So I’ve had to be really blunt and say he’s not coming back, that’s it, he’s dead and he’s not coming back because she doesn’t really understand.
‘She’s just really confused by it. She thinks he’s on tour. But we do then talk about him every day. She does ask me every day about him.
‘He wouldn’t want us to be sad. It’s lonely at night, but I have to live my life. We have been through so much together. The love I had for him was like no other.
‘I find it hard that I can’t text or call him to tell him things. I have lost the love of my life.’
