Radiohead‘s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood‘s new band The Smile have dropped a new single “The Smoke,” the group’s second-ever single and a follow-up to their debut track “You Will Never Work in Television Again.”
“The Smoke” is produced by Nigel Godrich and features contributions from Sons of Kemet tuba player Theon Cross and British jazz trumpeter Byron Wallen.
The new track also comes with a new video shot by writer/director Mark Jenkin.
The Smile, which also includes Sons of Kemet’s Tom Skinner, had previously revealed that the band’s debut album is in the final stages.
“Hi all, a little update.
The Smile album is at the track-listing stage (6227020800 possible song orders),” the band had tweeted.
